Alonso out. Technical problem. Engine failure.

By the way. Vettel carries an excellent new helmet-cam. Don't know if they're allowed to keep it for the race.

Where are they mounting it? Seems awfully high. Can't see much though - it's shaking to bits

I'm loving the view, even though it is high – it really shows how busy the driver's world is, how quick stuff comes at you, how much they're being shaken around etc.

Sorry Ray but this is trash. No one cares about Lewis's travails with American celebrities. He's a racer not an actor.

Interesting that Button closed DRS through Mergulho - I would've thought that Mergulho would have been flat out with DRS for the drivers.

That says he's concentrating on race setup.
More could have been done.

He had his DRS open everywhere else - then on the exit of 10 (the Bico de Pato hairpin) he opened DRS; he shut it as he turned in to Mergulho, then opened it on the exit of Mergulho again. Hence why I said Mergulho in specific. That would not be a race setup :P

Right, so what were the other cars doing through mergulho?

I didn't see too many through Mergulho on their hot laps (I saw a few in their race simulations; where obviously they would be closing DRS) but I did see Webber, flat + DRS through Mergulho

lewis could have been a couple of tenths quicker in P2, pretty sure he locked up into turn 11 on his fastest lap.

It was a pretty big lock up too – pretty sure it's more than a couple of tenths. Further evidence – his fastest lap was only 0.5 faster than his fastest lap on primes – that suggests there's another half a second in there at least. That said, I think vettel still has another half second at least too.
