Does SpeedTV to Fox shows a big motorsport audience decline?

IMO SpeedTv acquisition by Fox Sports is an effect, not a cause of a huge audience decline.

In other words people don't care about racecars anymore, maybe not even roadcars.
Maybe they prefer watching lame reality shows, fail videos and similar nonsense?
