His front wing was rather heavily damaged when he retired. Maybe he just decided to run into somebady, again...

Well technically they didn't break anything, just stated a fact. But I get what you're saying. But Mercedes also got attacked on a moral basis while operating within the rules. I don't want to make a big deal out of it, just thought I should mention it. Grosjean is getting a lot of critique and a team order like that won't help the mind of a driver.

Reprimand for Rosberg, speeding under yellow.

Really?

The silver boys must have someone on their pocket to get everytime only a reprimand...

Normally this is simply a +20s. :wtf:

Sounds unlikely to me. I think the RBR and Merc were very closely matched today.

Maybe, maybe not. I think not to be honest, but I don't care. The gap was 2-3 sec and that's impressive imo.

In general, the stewards don't like to alter the podium.

It's not. I expected a reprimand.

Ferrari also got away with an unsafe pit release - I seem to recall Alonso was released as a Lotus (I think!) was passing.

It also stayed relative the same throughout the race. When Hamilton was in front of Vettel before his tyre failure, Hamilton was able to maintain the same distance. Mercedes and Red Bull were evenly matched I'd say.

I think the big difference is that Rosberg didn't overtook someone during the yellow flag period, rather just went too fast. A reprimand sounds fair enough.

Not that it's anything you like to hear but there is a reason why Lotus are doing that. Raikkonen is in for a championship and Grosjean isn't. With Ferrari there was simply no reason to do what they did in the championship positions they were in. Ditto Mercedes.

If you've also got a driver who insists on crashing into every solid object he finds who are you going to give the new parts to? You don't like to see favouritism when it isn't necessary, but it is necessary and Grosjean has made a rod for his own back. He had his chances last year and early this and blew them.
