I believe they are covering the last test live as was last year but I did pose the question as the 1st test will be the first run out for the new engines and it could allay alot of fears regarding the sound for alot of fans but got no reply.

well , I usually have 4 days at jerez , but although I am already in southern spain for some weeks will pass this year , watching the breakdown trucks hauling cars back to the pits is not for me

and how many TV cameras will sky be using for this 'coverage ' ?

I think you will find it will be none at all ; so much for tv 'coverage'

In previous years they've had Ted Kraviz in the pitlane with camera for an end of day summary. That summary often has clips from earlier in the day of the cars pulling out of the garages so you can see what each car looks like.

If this was MotoGP we would have proper coverage for hours.

MotoGP don't have Bernie to stifle innovation!

Just look at how long it took F1 to go HD!!!

It's amusing/sad that the first we'll hear of these cars will most likely be the faint background noise in a SkySports News OB from the car park.

The first time you'll hear these cars will be when you're standing track-side. TV coverage doesn't do the sound any justice.

Is Jerez easy to access for the public?? Because private videos shot with a decent handycam sounds much better than the tv coverage of the races.
