I am pretty sure Alonso is firmly under contact for 2017. I doubt he will be able to move teams.

Realistically, even if he was free to move next season, there's nowhere for him to go. By the time his Mckaren contract ends, he'll be in his late 30's, and who knows, maybe he'll have begun to suffer for that, no longer the force he once was, at a time when the big teams will be fighting out to sign up the new generation; Verstappen, Sainz and co.

I think McLaren will absolutely be his last team. When he actually retires probably depends a lot on what happens over the winter. If pre season testing doesn't go as well as hoped, I wouldn't blame him for hanging up his helmet...

Don't know what broke but if he needs a new Engine a brand new one would be best. He starts from behind anyways.

Yeah, I am not optimistic for 2016. Regardless of all the changes they can push through in the off-season, it's hard to believe they will be 2+ secs per lap faster next year.

But one can always hope...

They say this year is a season for test, to learn, because they didn't had the mileage that other teams had. But does any other team had to use 12 engines to test?

Yeah but this year they pretty much had a "random" number of tokens, hopefully they can plan how to use them in the winter and during the course of the season next year.

Great graphs. Dont worry too much about the percentage for Brazil. Brazil has a long uphil section that rewards heavy deployment.
