What Rossi is doing is trying to build up some hype to make him look great. He is thinking that Alonso refuses (which he should) he will say that he is running scared from the challenge, if Alonso does take him up on the challenge it will boil down to the wrc cars where Alonso will pinch it.
If rossi is as good as he thinks he is how comes he hasn't won the champions of champions race at the end of each year!!!
Tom's comment about Ferrari being the only manufacturer to have won the F1 Constructors championship, Drivers championship and Le Mans using their own Chassis and Engine. I think Renault have won the F1 constructors and driver championship and WRC too if i am not mistaken
