And turkey I believe.
Still had edb? 2011 was the most ebd dependant year of them all.
Basically when RB6 got an f-duct working it was over.

in 2011 DRS could be used During Qualification at any point during the lap, not just in the drs zones like now.

Yes I really liked that DRS system. I think it should be up to the driver to use it where he dares, that way it becomes much more of a tool than just a push-to-pass system. Was disappointed to see it go.

Wider tires, wider wings, active aero and active suspension and there's your 5-6 sec per lap...easy.

Are we forecasting rain for tomorrow and the race as well? FPs in full wet and if the race is in dry condition then these sessions are pretty much useless.

I'm under the impression it's expected to be less wet tomorrow and they are expecting dry on Sunday. Teams not all that interested in being out much because they aren't expecting these conditions on Sunday. If they expected a wet race they'd all be pounding laps in both sessions.

Damn, I was willing to see a wet race :x

I like how Sainz is taking this season, he doesn´t care if it will be useful or not for the race, he simply do as many laps as he can, always, under any circumstance, to learn as much as he can about the car, different tracks, different conditions.... as any rookie should be doing if you ask me

And even performing pretty good btw, first time ever to be fastest on a oficial sesion =D> and it was under the rain... when it was his team mate who was considered the new Senna  :P

I've been very impressed with Sainz all season, doing a really solid job but losing out to reliability in most of his best performances. So many points lost.

Really hope he is kept on next year (and that Toro Rosso stay next year!)

With Monaco being Hamilton's fault and Hungary being Rosberg's fault, so they're even more equal.

Yet he has trouble with his 17y old team mate in his second year in a car.

Sainz = 5 years in cars before F1
Verstappen = 1 before F1

Better tyres full stop! There's your 3-4 sec per lap easy.

Surely not that simple (Somebody will correct me here I hope)

More grip = higher corner speeds, which probably means more time on full throttle. Better grip = later braking and quicker point of acceleration, with less short shifting and more fuel burn.

How easily can the cars run with a higher fuel burn rate?

We're somewhat off topic though
