Looking at these pics, I must say that the Renault front wing looks like a arrows, I hope they fix that. But the graphics look sweet.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

It has the potential to be awesome, the PS3 is an amazing gaming console which brings real time graphics processing to the floor.

My only hope is that we dont have a F1 2005 for PS3 type conversion, where it is almost exactly the same.

I hope they make a full simulation, and allow you to change almost every setting for the car. Im also hoping that there is a bit of a career feel to it.

Good graphics, better simulation, career aspect. should make it much better than its PS2 competitors.

Oh, and the PS3 will cost about $499.

Not only the ps3 cost 499$, but its native resolution needs a "true HD" screen to be supported. In Japan and America it should not be a problem, but europpean are late with it and for the first true HD TV screen under 800€ we'll have to wait for mid 2007. So we talk about an approximative budget of 1300€

Also in some shots the drivers clearly can't see over the steering wheel!

They need make the game like GT4 or the nascar series from EA, it has to be fun but also you can do alot of things that you normally see in F1 but aren't usually included in the game.

In the perfect game you should have the option of a complete simulation, where you have a few practice sessions, team shuffles, contracts, formation laps and engine failures. Also arguments with engineers, other drivers and team bosses.

You should check out the newest nascar game, Im not a big fan of Nascar but they have some really things related to nascar that no other game developer has thought of

Yes and the safety car is cruelly missing in all previous games. F1 2005 was particulary crappy with a ridiculously easy game (actually I'm sure even my mother can put a minardi p1 from p20 in 1 lap without any driving aid and diffuculty set to hard  ). Plus the IA was a pity, other drivers never commit errors, there are no accidents and if you crashed @320km/h in a wall the worst you could fear was to broke the front wing. After this crap, they have some hard work to do...

I saw a couple of reviews on F1 2005 which said almost exactly the same.
And yes, safety cars should be included!

I have a game (Formula 1, Pysonges) set in 1995. The graphics are abysmal and other drivers don't make mistakes. again you can have huge crashes and not even damage your wing. In 10 years F1 games have come no further!
