Ooo, I see they've found a way to screw Raikkonen :D

Oh look, Ferrari have given Vettel the win... can't blame them in terms of title race but I feel for Kimi.
Kimi wasn't fast enough, he should have done the laps Vettel showed he can do...

Why are the Sky commentators and some here complaining about the swap over? Duel standards as Bottas had to it on the track a few races earlier...

Ferrari with the switcharoo.
Vettel was fast enough for it, but i am sure ferrari could have kept kimi in front if they wanted to.
Vettel is #1!!!
Hamilton will have a hard time this season fighting against a ferrari backed vettel so early.
For Sure!!

??? The tires had more or less the same pace. Ver nearly undercut Bot and Vet overcut Rai. It is the driver who made it work. With this pace the under- and the overcut would have worked in favor of Vet.

Why do the guys at Sky Sports talk like the switcheroo is a surprise, or outside the rules? Of coure Ferrari would do it, and there is no way to prove that they did, so just change subjects and move on, please.

Since Bottas has been backing him from the start of the season, I don't think it is an issue. Lewis's main problem seems his own dismal performance in one third of the race weekends so far.

Pat Symonds and his logic!
apparently kimi was going slow compared to Ricciardo, and they wanted to see what pace Vettel had. So in some way Ferrari wanted to feel out what vettel could do, and also make the win safer against redbull
For Sure!!

As I said, can't complain because of the title race. I just felt sorry for Kimi as it would have been a fairy tale weekend for him otherwise. That's all.

Mercedes have said they have no #2 driver
lol. anyway, Kimi seems to have lost all will to fight for the win. I think this will impact the rest of his season, and whether he will continue to race next year.
For Sure!!

Kimi has pretty much given up now, deflated looking at the lap times, feel for the guy. Its different when its for 2nd or 3rd but for the win on race 6, not good.

He had the advantage starting from pole, but not the pace. Either way Vettel would have gotten him (pit before Kimi, or after)

Exactly. As Chandok said on C4 (I switched off Sky because they seem to want to find a reason to complain) Kimi seemed to be requesting the stop to cover off the guys behind - he didn't have the pace any more and Seb was running well within the dirty air.

I'm sure Seb would have loved the undercut but he took the overcut and made that work instead. It was great work by him with very fast laps (not far off the MSC proper lap record) so ridiculous to blame any kind of team orders.

Not sure why Hamilton is charging up behind Sainz. Does he think he can overtake or push Sainz in to a mistake? Odd.

Man, I really expected to see Hamilton in a position a bit like Schumacher in 2006 or Alonso in 2010 - I.e. Right on people's gearboxes and having lots of looks at the chicane.

What's going on?
2017 regulations, if there was 1 overtake at sochi, we will be lucky to see 1 here
Is the dirty air really worse than 2006? I have my doubts.

Seems like they actually just preferred to save the tyres and do the overcut - it worked really well but less spectacular.
