Yamamoto is not the next Ide, he does well in tests and has some experience with driving in Europe. I am looking forward to see what he can do in a race. :wink: 8)

Yes, they are learning. :lol: Ide should have more time as a test driver...

SA most definitely want Japanese drivers. They made a mistake for pushing a driver into an F1 seat when he wasn't ready. Ide made a mess at the start of the season, and one big reason was that he had almost no seat time in the car. That is why he got pulled. Montagny was just a temporary driver until they could get another Japanese driver to fill the second car's seat, but one with an acceptable number of laps under his belt.
