Scuderia AlphaTauri AT03 Speculation Thread

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

As far as I know, Franz Tost confirmed in a article that they will be using redbull rear suspension, gearbox, and he said they may use parts of the front suspension or the whole thing. Anyway I don't expect them to design there own, they've been quite reliant on redbull for the past few years,
AT seems to have standard suspension (pull rod front, push rod back).
yep seems like it, rear pull rod seems to come pretty far forward compared to what we have seen so far

but I don't trust renders, I'd rather see a real car, so maybe we will see in a few days

Only nose thus far that extends past the wing, i'm thinking fake.
Plenty of work to do so they might've taken a strategic short-cut and made life easy for themself crash-test wise.

A good way to attract air and accelerate it towards diffuser top and beam wing

Very interesting for sure with these different aero concepts, this one starts out as the amr solution but instead of leading the air around/under the sidepods to the diffuser center, they seem to lead it for the diffuser edge to help seal i would guess, and then, like in the old times, guide the air from top of the sidepod down via a big ramp, very interesting i have to say

Not clear to understand, the air flux inside the lateral sidepod, where it goes? maybe there is hole
down back in the floor and goes in the diffure exit? I think is forbiddens, so where it goes?

Their heat outlet looks like it's straight onto the beam wing. McLaren's looks higher above the beam wing and Aston outlets through the louvres.

That looks like holes in the roof of the diffuser presumably to feed air in. I assume it's an artefact rather than holes in the roof of the diffuser, however.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

The drive shaft to gearbox location is fixed within +/- 10mm from the bottom of the car (250-260mm).

Likewise the wishbones cannot join the upright lower than 40mm below the wheel centre axis.
