So is it from next season AM build their own suspension and gearbox?
No, I think they will only start from 2026.
Thank you!

F1 did a top 10 battles of 2023 highlight reel, and the top 3 are with Fernando Alonso. I think they should have rated Bahrain higher (vs Hamilton) and then he'd have covered the top 4

Aramco full title partner. If im not wrong, Cognizant had already announced they would stop being a title sponsor a couple months ago or so, but they will continue to collaborate with the team, just not as title partner.

Alonso on Stroll:

“At the beginning of the year with the broken hand, and then midway through the season with some difficulties, he was so determined to put things back in place again, and eventually he did, after I think Mexico, the race in Brazil, the race in Vegas.

“This was a surprise to me, to be honest, the level of commitment and the level of motivation that he has. So this is only good news and good things for the team.”

“The car was just changing the behaviour a little bit and he was just struggling a little bit more than me, and now I think we’ve fixed a few things in the car and he’s back to the top form.”

Stroll should hopefully have a better season in 2024.

Does that means, there is a possibility of 'Florescent' green on AMR24?

No new informations. It was always clear (and there are several articles about it) that the Mercedes gearbox is bulkier because of their initial zero pod design. Therefore the beam wing is less efficient, bigger wings needed, etc.
But for sure that wasn’t their only problem. Floor, front wing concept, etc…

We don't know if the gearbox design weakness is related to the zeropods. Let's not make that leap. Afaik pre-2022 their gearbox was also not that small compared to rivals

I am just repeating what I am reading in articles since March. For AMR it doesn’t matter anyway what’s the reason for the bulkier gearbox, they have to deal with it. But as I wrote, a known problem since season start and absolutely no new news.

For me it sounds like that they kinda developed into the new gearbox direction already during the season, and this resulted in some problems as traction loss etc.

"The development from 2023 should carry over to 2024 and be better suited with the new Mercedes gearbox."

From December 1 of this year until January 1 2025, the only windtunnel work permitted is using a scale model that “substantially complied with the 2023, 2024 or 2025 technical regulations”.

Dyno testing aimed to develop brake system components “with minimal air ducting” can be carried out, as long as that does not test “or in any way provide incidental data or knowledge on” the performance or endurances of bodywork.

It is a similar story in terms of preventing CFD simulations, with the same December 1 2023 to January 1 2025 timeframe only permitting CFD work using geometries that “substantially comply with the 2021-25 technical regulations”.

Similarly, the “sole purpose of the development of the brake system components and associated test rigs” is the only exception.

The new wind tunnel and other infrastructure should be completed and calibrated before that date, it seems.

Why? To make life harder for themselves? That doesnt make sense at all.
