Sidepods tightened front and back, smaller cooling exits, smaller louvers, loads of little details all over the car. Such details always mean confidence in basic design and performance. Front wing change is quite big, I didn't expect this. Will do a bigger comparison in the evening, quite a lot has changed vs final F1-75 spec.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Thoughts on the inlets below sidepod inlets? They might vent beside halo into bathtub?

Impossible to tell right now. Could be just very long vanes ending just in front of the undercut.

Front wing strakes are curious, if they keep them then they've aligned with FIA on design and other teams will soon follow.

Im glad that they did not jump on the RB copy wagon. They continued their design. There are so much more details, love it.

New Chassis S-Duct? Because the one from the front-nose was just too mainstream previously. :mrgreen:

Unlikely... but could they be showing the front wing with all the strakes on it to distract everyone from other parts of the car?

Haas had a bit smaller vanes there last year, so it's legal

I think it was tombazis was talking about how they had initially closed off things like this but decided to loosen the rules around the cockpit/halo for vanes as they didn't make a big difference to the wake

Well, let's face it - the F1-75 was the fastest car in 2022. The race trim was the problem. So if you've worked out the bugs in that regard, made better use of the tires, reduced drag - then surely an evolution was better than building a radically different car. The front wing looks even more center loaded with more outwash. The underbody intake has been modified and moved back a bit, as has the smaller intake of the sidepods, the lower element of the front wing has been offset and the nose is now only attached to the second element. So there are plenty of detail changes here even at first glance. Personally, I think it's absolutely the right decision to make an evolution of an obviously very good concept, and improve it in the crucial places. This is how you actually win world championships - not by copying or constantly changing your concept! Especially when you already have a very good and especially fast one, which only had a few "teething troubles"!

I also honestly do not understand how you can be disappointed here - all the other teams have done nothing but copied Ferrari and Red Bull, while Ferrari has remained true to its line and has further developed its concept! That's a lot better than if you had now like all the others to their own concept still copied Red Bull!

To me when there was a little bit of speed it looked strong from low revs, stable, compliant and balanced. There seemed to be some misleading audio manipulation.

This rectangular opening below the sidepod inlet is weird for sure. Same sort of size as the opening behind the halo. The sidepod just outwashes continuously outboard of it, ie it's not just a vane but an inlet into the sidepod

Did they change the front suspension?
