Good morning from Munich as well.

Bourdais is on track. The talk at Bahrain is about Sunday weather conditions. We have sandstorms predicted. This is likely to match rain in tyre traction and visibility. Based on previous practise I would think that the race will run but it will be very scary in terms of conditions and engine handicap.

Kimi just spun it on track.

Just wondering, would it be obvious to use slicks in a sandy conditions?

I should think so xpensive. the rubber is so soft and hot that it will still get as much grip as anything else even on the sandy surface.

I also agree that these friday practices are manna from heaven for us addicted F1 fans!
