Heidfeld pleased with BMW announcement

Today, the BMW Sauber F1 Team announced that they will have the same driver line-up in 2009 as this season. Nick Heidfeld, who was previously linked with the Honda F1 Racing Team, will keep his position at the Hinwil-based team.

Nick Heidfeld said: "I'm very pleased about this announcement and about the confidence that the team have shown in me. I've always said that I was happy to stay with BMW Sauber because we've managed to achieve what we set out to do at this stage and I really hope that we will be battling it out for the title itself next year."
