Raikkonen declares lack of interest in 2008

Despite starting the 2008 Formula One season as Drivers Champion, Kimi Raikkonen was not capable of defending his title, with technical issues adding to his already bad luck. But despite rumours that he had loss interest in the sport, the Finn soldiered on as nothing was wrong.

This was until Raikkonen declared the contrary to Finnish TV channel 'MTV3';
"When there are no opportunities to overtake or to improve your position it is definitely not very interesting. But that is the way it is. When you know you're fighting for just P3 you simply don't always have the same speed for the whole race as you would normally have."
