Hamilton should focus on the present - Coulthard

Former Formula One driver David Coulthard has added upon the notion that Lewis Hamilton has not had an underperforming car in F1, thus making his career easier and giving him a brighter view of what the future holds. The most recent driver to make a similar comment was another British driver, Honda's Jenson Button.

"In terms of trying to achieve wins it would be silly of him to stay with McLaren if the car wasn't performing," said David Coulthard in quote by 'The Sun', “He wants to win and you would expect him to say that now because they're on top of the world."

While also recommending to the young star to not make plans too far into the future, as no one know what the the future might hold for them.
