Lewis Hamilton, 2008 Formula One World Champion, was awarded with the prestigious British Racing Drivers' Club Gold Star award. The award was presented by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Hamilton said: "It is an amazing honour for me. I never thought in my life I would have an award presented to me by the Prime Minister."
