Karthikeyan rejected to drive at Le Mans

Former Indian Formula One driver Narain Karthikeyan was rejected by the ACO to drive during the 24h of Le Mans. At 1:00 am the organisation declared him unsuitable to drive, even though the Audi doctor approved it.

The Indian has dislocated his shoulder just ahead of the start of the 24h and was taken to the doctor for a checkup.

Karthikeyan was scheduled to drive in the #14 Audi R10 TDi run by team Kolles, the former owner of the Spyker F1 Team. His team mates Charles Zwolsman and Andre Lotterer are therefore completing the race without him.
