Williams CEO Adam Parr hopes that the FOTA will quickly restore the membership of the suspended members, Williams and Force India. The two teams got suspended by the body as they signed up unconditionally to the 2010 season before a deal had been reached between FOTA and FIA.

Adam Parr said that he expects FOTA to re-admit the two teams after the news from yesterday. "I do hope so. I think that's something we'd all like to see. It's essential we, along with Force India and the new teams, are part of the discussions going forward."

The Formula One Teams' Association is meeting today in Bologna, Italy, and will afterwards brief the media with details of its cost-cutting alternatives to the budget cap.
