Schumacher to race with updated Schuberth helmet

After Felipe Massa's accident at the Hungarian GP, helmet manufacturer Schuberth has updated its helmet for use in Formula One. The visor area has been the center of attention, since it was that part that nearly came off with the impact of the suspension spring.

"Felipe's visor only came off when the doctors pulled on it. But we have inserted a titanium disc at the transition from the visor to the helmet where previously there was only plastic," Oliver Schimpf told the newspaper 'Bild'.

Michael Schumacher will have the privelage of debuting the newly updated Schuberth RF1 at the European GP.
