Promoters of the Korean Grand Prix have hit out at accusations that the circuit maybe in crisis by saying that the build of the venue is right on schedule and that they have no concerns about it not being ready to race. This statement comes after suggestions that the construction is behind schedule.

Yung Cho Chung, CEO of Korea Auto Valley Operation, said to our colleagues at 'autosport': "The construction progress for our circuit is well ahead of its schedule and we have absolutely no issues with completion,"

I understand that Mr. Ecclestone is quite happy with not only the progress of the track but the direction the Korean F1 race is headed and he has raised no questions and concerns."
