Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett were in attendance in Jerez today as Team McLaren Mercedes continued its pre-season testing programme in interim MP4-20s. The two day test will focus on further tyre development work with Michelin.

Running at the Circuito de Jerez began mid-morning due to the cold, damp conditions. Pedro de la Rosa left the garage just after 11am, with Gary Paffett taking to the track shortly before 11:50am. Running in the afternoon was uninterrupted and saw Pedro and Gary complete 174 laps, covering 770km in total.

De la Rosa finished the day with the fastest time of 1m18.853, whilst Paffett was lying in third place with a 1m19.135.
