By on

The race calendar for the World Series by Renault 2007 season was unveiled on Sunday evening at the 2006 prize-giving ceremony. The next season will consist of seven full meetings. The World Series Formula Renault 3.5 only will be featured at three other events.

As has been the case for the past two seasons, the World Series by Renault will once again get underway at the Belgian circuit of Zolder. The World Series Formula Renault 3.5 category will not be featured at this opening meeting to allow more time to be allocated to the F1 Roadshow.

The World Series Formula Renault 3.5 will be contested at three other meetings in addition to those in the main race calendar: Monaco (F1 GP), Spa and Monza (Le Mans Series). The last two meetings are still to be officially confirmed.
