As earlier announced on F1Technical, the ING Renault F1 Team will debut ifs 2007 Roadshow programme this weekend in the Polish capital Warsaw! What have Moscow, Tokyo, Lyon, Seville or Rome all got in common? Well, they have all welcomed the ING Renault F1 Team Roadshow in recent years, and Warsaw has now joined the group, as the first event of our 2007 season. The roads of the Polish capital will resonate to the sounds of Formula 1 from Saturday, 2 June!

Launched in 2003, the programme has entertained more than 1.5 million spectators around the world, offering a show that combines technical excellence, proximity to the spectators and genuine sporting passion.

Following a parade of cars from Renault’s heritage collection, Heikki Kovalainen will be at the wheel of the R26 on Sunday to put on a spectacular show for the crowds. He will cross the Szietokrzyski bridge that spans the Vistula river, then run down behind the Warsaw University library to thrill the thousands of people who are expected to attend. The sounds of the thoroughbred V8 racing engine will form just part of a wide range of attractions and activities for the public, which they will be able to enjoy from Saturday afternoon onwards.

The show will be completely free of charge for spectators – and will allow passionate fans and curious newcomers alike to enjoy an exceptional event, and to get within touching distance of the world of Formula 1 – a first in Poland!

As always, you can expect a spectacular show from the Renault Roadshow team, and if you are near Warsaw this weekend, drop in and see us!
