Ecclestone keen to return to Francorchamps

Formula One supremo, Bernie Ecclestone, has declared to the Belgian newspaper 'Het Laatste Nieuws' that everything seems fine at the renewed circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, the venue of this weekends Belgian Grand Prix.

Bernie Ecclestone "I've been informed about the progress of the works at the circuit and I've seen plenty of pictures. Everything seems fine."

Asked about the future of the Belgian Grand Prix, the F1 boss said: "Why should we say goodbye to Spa if there has been pumped so much money in the circuit? It's idiotic to make a balance after this year anyway. This year will be hard, it's always difficult to re-start a GP after he has been descrete."
