BMW tested KERS technology on track

The BMW Sauber F1 Team have publicly confirmed that they have tested the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) in one of their Formula One cars. The team ran the car for 50 km at a private test track at Miramas. The KERS technology is set to be introduced in 2009.
