They decided to go long tube headers to reduce heat going back to the cylinders it seems.

The airbox is a monster. I have no idea what is underneath.

Agree. It wouldn't make sense to run your cooled charged air into the rear of the air box.

Does anyone have some info/updates on engine vibrations? Were they fixed during today's testing or do they still can't turn up the engine to full power for the most part?

Seems that teams can and do carry more than 100kg on runs, sneaky, also wastegate target?...Interesting, I'm sure Ferrari is gonna have a field day with Haas.

Thats been the case from the start. They are only allowed 100 kg for the race, but they send the car out before the race to do a couple of laps including the formation lap, which they carry additional fuel for.

Variable trumpets confirmed.

135 bar fuel. (could be just start up pressure though).
96*C fuel? What?

Yeah I was going to say, the air box is so big because of the variable trumpets. You need to build up pressure inside the box to take advantage of the increased torque from the variable length intakes.

TFuelRailGDI = 96.7
TFuelRailGDI 1= 46.1
TFuelRailGDI 2= 96.7
Not surprisingly, they are running heated fuel (as did Honda in the RA168e). This system looks even smarter. Seems they have two fuel supplies - one at the max temp they need (TFuelRailGDI 2) and one near ambient (TFuelRailGDI 1). By varying the mix they can inject at any desired fuel temperature (TFuelRailGDI ) in between, and change the temperature - almost instantly.
