A burned cover on the side of Gasly. Max engine braking problems and derates. Perez lockup under breaking.

I think MGU-K or CE error

Didn't look like an ICE failure though.

The hydraulic pumps are breaking on the camshaft drives again, same issue as testing, they thought they'd fixed it, this is really not good, especially on so many cars at similar times it's a fatigue/design issue in the part not just a flaw.

Yeah I'm thinking something hydraulics related as well, because they also run power steering and Verstappen was reporting less and less steering assistance. I suspect this pump in not part of engine freeze?

If its a fuel pump failure can that be replaced without going against any of the usage limits?

Isn't the fuel pump a standard component for all teams ?

I think the in-tank pump is, not sure about the one on the engine though.

Horner suggested the steering issues were Max seem to be because of the car being dropped at the pit stop likely a bent trackrod, it effected turning one way more than the other, Max said it was something that happened at the pit stop but not sure what

Why this season? What do you think changed?

Has the extra weight made itself felt? Decided to fill in less fuel, which led to overheating of the pump?

Higher water content in E10?

Makes me think...

>Standard fuel pump
>Non-standard fuels
>Non-standard engine temperatures and vibrations

Then 3/4 of the Hondas are out of the race.

Is anyone else using the same fuel as RB?
Vibration does make more sense though. Is electric or engine driven?

I dont think Gasly's breakdown was related to the fuel pump
