Just wondering, does anyone think the engines will rev higher this year?

No. They will run them at whatever rpm between 10,500 and 15,000 has the highest BSFC. Usually that means low rpm where friction and pumping losses are lower.
If the rules were changed to taper the fuel from say 95 kg/hr at 10,500 to 100 kg/hr at 15,000 we would see more running at 15,000.
