With Nicks engine getting inspected before the Japaneese race at Fuji, does this mean that there could be a posibility of a Merc/Ferarri/BMW engine freeze on the cards???

Meaning that Renault, Honda and Toyota can catch up in the performance area, allowing them to get that crucial extra horse power out of the engine.

Is this a posibility???

Don't think so - this is to compare the engines to those given to the FIA as sealed units at the start of the year. So they are checking that additional development work hasn't been illegally carried out.
