Because beating a dead horse and pissing and moaning like a child is alot of fun to some people.

actually bad luck can span more than one season, and massa has never blamed the team. They let him down with delivery of a good car. Schumi had hardly any mechanical faults, but massa gets many.

The spring hitting him cmon luck is a serious player in f1. He might gave dominated kimi this year we will never know.

And let's not forget crash-gate. Wonder if he's still mad about that

Yes, and some people forget that this is why Ferrari and the Tifosi have this emotional attachment to Massa. Massa's been a real soldier about things and nary a hint of complaining. He's taken to heart his opportunity at Ferrari and has always given his best. If the old Massa shows up at Sakhir next year (which I'm sure he will), you can bet he'll be back in the hearts of the team and Tifosi.

Everyone thought he would be beaten by Reikkonen easily which wasn't the case. Before I speculate who will get his seat I want to see a clear Alonso domination over him without back stabbing politics at Ferrari.

It's unlikely that what transpired at McLaren could occur at Ferrari. McLaren was driven by money... at Ferrari it's more about tradition.

Ferrari will take Jules Bianchi next to Fernando 2011, for sure.

I don't think Ferrari are the type of team that would invest a full seat on inexperienced drivers. I think they like to hire drivers who have had at least a couple seasons under their belts. It's kinda why seats are so coveted there. You know, off the top of my head, I can't remember when they've given a rookie a drive.

I suspect that if the old Filipe "IOTT" Massa shows up next season he'll be on the roster in 2011. Oh, IOTT (or "I Own This Track") is my new nickname for Massa.

Because they will be teammates and it is natural in F1 to be compare to ones teammate because they are the only other driver in similar equipment, And what Massa does after 2010 is directly linked to how well he performs against Alonso.

I didn't like it when Alonso replaced Kimi and I don't like it when I read this today:

"Domenicali admits Alonso will fulfill Shumacher-like role"
http://www.f1technical.net/news/13864

The spaghetti management just wants to have a king in the house, it seems. A driver like Alonso who requires domination is more than happy to take on that role at Ferrari. I mean, Ross Brawn said Schumi is actually not very good in terms of helping to evaluate cars because he has the natural skill to hide and adapt to imperfections, which makes it hard to spot design problems. So to say Alonso is Schumacher-like, I feel it actually means more of a king or a spiritual leader in the team than a driver who could help develop the car technically.

I'm pointing this out is because, obviously, the Schumacher-like role (the king interpretation) will inevitably mean a Barrichello-like role, too.

In that sense Massa's future depends on whether he likes that role. I hope he doesn't because I like him a lot and I feel he does not deserve to be shoved into that kind of situation. Anyway, if he is to leave Ferrari after 2010 it will be a shame, but I feel it is a real possibility.

Yeah, two kings cannot rule the same domain.
Alonso is the new don Corleone, or should i say don Maranello. 8)
