hmmm

Helmet is an integral part of F1 safety, and its designs are another topic in F1 to demonstrate what drivers like. :P

So, I thought this deserves a thread of its own for the best helmet design for 2010. Please, have your say about it (with photos). What do you think whose helmet features the best/appealing design?

Personally I like:
simplicity like Heidfeld's,
nice contrast like Kubica's,
strange two side idea like Liuzzi's,
Red Bull can idea like Vettel's,
metalic version like Glock's,
clear design like Di Grassi's,

Unfortunately in this gallery there are no back side and top pictures of the helmets.

Here You can find this: Helmets at Bahrain GP

In some cases interesting.

Talking about Fernando Alonso's helmet, there are two aces on the back of the helmet, which one can be obviously sure that those represent his two World Championships won in 2005 and in 2006; but why so particular about the Ace of Clubs (♣) and the Ace of Heart (♥)?

Do you zgred or anyone know their significance??

Probably just the fact, that they were the first 2 suits he could think of, or maybe its just his prefernece, or maybe somebody actually knows if there is a speific reason?

Also I like Heikki's. Always like the black white and green colours together, and the cool text that kovalainen is repeatedly written with, just like the DC Shoes on Ken Block's Subaru Rally Car.

I love the flat black on Vettel's, but if it was me, I would go a step farther and have the whole thing flat black, with shiny black accents like he has now.

Comedy Value: Vettel - For the Red Bull can idea
Simplisity: Alonso/Rosberg - Simple, un-fussy design.
Bright Value: Massa - You cant miss him
Patrotic Feeling: Button for the JB liveried Union Jack & Coulthard for the beautiful Saltire
Little Bugger: Barichello - He keeps changing every second or third GP. Once youre used to one, he changes it.
Amongst The Yellows: Hamilton - You know its him.
Iconic Design: Senna - Bringing his uncles helmet design back to the grid
Team Man: Robert Kubica - Matches the livery of the R30 to a Tee.

Personal Favrouite: Nick Heidfeld - Unfiussy black, sleek and classy!!!

I hate to say this but I think Alonso (Raikkonen fan here. Yes, I'm still bitter) has the best helmet. The Mercedes' helmets are boring, as is Vettel's. Alonso looks like it was particularly designed for him and has character so I'd go for it.

Kovalainen's new helmet looks fantastic!

Alonso's is also a good personal design, and I like Hamilton's for simplicity and visibility.

I don't know, most of them looks cluttered with too many colors, I have to give it to Petrov's Russian tricolore.
Tasteful.

I was watching Goodwood Festival pictures and I saw Heidfeld in the BGP01. His helmet is fantastic. The color is amazingly good and it's a pity he is not racing this year :(
