hmm indeed that mirror paint isn't really my preferred paint but well...
The red is likely to be a preparation for their vodafone sponsorship next year. How kind of them to prepare us to that :P

do you need wing mirrors with a paint job like that?

Also is this the solution to keeping the engine cooler? :)

To be honest i quite like it

Looks like Johnny Walker stepped in as the Main sponsor for this year. And is that red in the wings a placeholder for the upcoming vodafone ads, coming in a year early?
Man that's a kick ass livery. If you're going to DNF every race, might as well look good doing it.

Reminds me of MF1

I liked it when "West" was plastered all over the car... I loved that livery. The cigarette's alright too.
Bring back wider rear wings, V10s, and tobacco advertisements

complaints? probably...

Post

I can see the other 10 teams complaining of McLaren's new paint job being too sun glaring causing it to be too dangerous for them to race.

Before they do complain....HEY! That's what your racing visors are for!

Wait a minute!...chrome shine + V8 screams causes epilepsy in the crowds. McLaren paint banned...Mercedes asked to retune regular faulty engines...

go Mac go!

Very distinctive, almost chrome. McLaren will get a lot of publicity just from this paint scheme.
I want to see how it looks under a bright sun. It may blind everyone.... including their own drivers.

Probably it will...but I like the chrome. The red isn't pretty at all, well I think so

personally i think the oranger looks better, so many of f1 cars are using the same colour and the orange would stand out just as much as the chrome/silver.

in a sunny day it'll imposible to overtake them, unless they wear some good sunglases, also watching a mclaren in your mirrors could be a bit uncomfortable  could FIA ban a livery ?
