Gyro,

Why are you leveling the criticism at Pagani? The Zonda is a very unique shape and not a Ferrari/Lambo clone as the R8 and various other midengined rivals.

At last years topgear exhibition, the Zonda was by far the most appreciated supercar. The ques to see it where astonishing, James Kahn of "dragons den" was said to be interested in the 600k "F" example, and probably signed up when the AMG engineer started it up and gave the crowds a wall of V12 music.
The Zonda makes an effort to look unlike anything else. When you see one in the flesh, you will know exactly what I mean.

JET,

No point discussing / arguing with autogyro. One only has to look at his posts around the place to see that he has a dislike of anything 'new fangled' or modern. If it was designed / built prior to about 1960 then it's good, otherwise it's 'rubbish'.

I think he's an old man with memories of good times lived in the past that he wishes he could relive...

And that's not a criticism, by the way. We'll all be like that one day, some sooner than others but we'll all get there eventually (provided we live long enough, of course).

It does seem that way, but hey good luck to gyro.
Having a good innings is somthing we all would like, but I just thank the good lord to have graced my generation with machines like the Zonda..... Particularly the Zonda!

But you have to admit the new one, back a page, does look a little generic.

I hope that changes a little.

Looking at "spypics" will never bring a cars final shape to light.
Cladding, black shading to hide the cars preportions and many opther visual tricks can make the car look very different.
Wait till the final production ready car is finalised then we can discuss it fully.

My God, what a savage beast!

That journo looks as though he had a life defining experience. 650bhp WITH restrictors, 900bhp without? Would it actually be possible that this thing actually sounds better without restrictors?
Either way, this just about trumps the Cinque! Thankyou Panda

Have you seen videos of them testing Paganis in Modena?
Literally right outside the factory in front of onlookers, these guys floor 700bhp Zonda's to "test" them!
It would be dangerous, but you can hear the wail from over a mile

Crazy italians
