Hi all, I want to know more about the Sauber c12 more info, pictures. I want to know too how much of the spring, bump, anti-roll bars those cars used. Thx all.
In the latest issue of race engine Technology, there should be an article about the transmission on the C12 and how it provided a switch in technology.
Transmission of C13 ..i think it is almost the same .. Sauber was introducing a longitudinal inboard Gearbox with aluminiumgearcasein one piece back then .

Marcush, for some reason I don't see pictures in both of your posts. What's more, I was able to view pics from your posts above by copying link and opening in separate window, but doing so with image link from your last post showed a heavily tattoo'd lady.
on the pic -which you can´t see- it is very clear that this is a longitudinal box ,very clean outer shape no access doors just nice flat aero surfaces ..acess solely from diff cover and input sghaft cover. Did any team have inpoard longitudinal boxes at that time? I think back then everyone had transversial inboard trans.
now ok? you can clearly see the suspension layout ,ARB thru diffhousing ,gearbox housing anchorpoints..oiltank etc.. only the sachs dampers are not mounted ..they have the setup bars /dummy shocks on this pic.
