well I would certainly go for JPM-Alonso in the case I would have to choose one here.
My absolute dream team would probably be Jacques Villeneuve and JPM. Both drivers are highly talented, have a strong motivation and actually try to overtake people (which is not that evident, looking at Ralf Schumacher for example  ). I actually think they would get along quite well, there's no reason for a fuss, as Montoya does fine and Villeneuve has proven a lot already. Both guys come from CART, and finding sponsors that would be interested in a good Canadian and Columbian can't be that hard...

Would have to be MS/Kimi. They are both calm...cool under pressure, with the exception of 2003 one-lap qualifying and KR's occasional disaster.

Kimi and JPM would not get along at all. JPM is a not very technically savvy and is too over-emotional to get along with KR. KR would look at JPM as some kind of nutter I suspect. Like "wtf are you doing?"

Rubens and JPM would make a good pair. JPM could pitch a fit, and Rubens would just laugh it off. Plus I think JPM could bully Rubens into whatever he wanted RB to do...show him his place on the team.

The rest...dunno...

hehe... if there is one guy that has messed up multiple times under pressure this season, it's MS
Alonso and Kimi did way much better in these circumstances, and so did JPM

I would go for the Raikkonen and Alonso combination. They are the future of F1. Montoya is nearing his 30s already and has been critisied for his lack of concentration by Patrick Head, eg. he spun while leading in OZ 03 which has cost him the race win, potentially the title. For the car, i go for a McLaren with BMW engine. McLaren seemed to put a lot of effort to their 04 challenger, spending a whole year designing it. The engine has to be BMW.

Tomba: About who made more misstakes than the other, last time I checked MS was still the FIA Formula 1 World Champion.

I know your not a fan of MS but come on !!! MS must have done something right this season or the other guys really suck!! :)

hehe well it's quite objective though
Even belgian television commentators said Schumacher was not the one he was last year. I found him kind of stressed, especially at the beginning of the season... that very very stupid error in Malaysia for example. I reckon there were more of these incidents.
When things go well, he driver good, I am aware of that, and when things are bad (Hungary), he makes the best of the possibilities without an error, but somehow I cannot deny he seems to get nervous when there is a very slight chance of winning, and then ruins his own chances

The best team I would be Jacques Villenueve and JP Montoya. Think about it, both drivers are very aggressive and sponsorship would be easy to find for them. They could drive for McLaren.

My Dream Team is Jenson Button & Kimi for McLaren Or Honda.. I'm sure Honda will have a winning team very soon, maybe this time in 2004. My dream team also need Adrian Newey or Rory Bryne as Designer/Technical Director. Now who can top that ?!

Wanted to vote Massa - Alonso but that wasn't in. I think massa has the potential to become a great driver. And alonso already is one all he needs is some more luck and better consistancy.

Tomba,

I do seem to recall a certain colombian that ruined any chance he had when he rammed a certain brazilian ... he was of course under pressure ...

For Michael Schumacher now, I seem to recall he got a title, under lots of pressure...
