I was lucky enough to Scrutineer for Renault this year @ Yas. Words can't describe the experience of being in the pits with the F1 Racing Teams, I'm just having a hard time getting over it, I'll let the pix do the talking..

I'm curious. Do you need qualifications to actually become a scrutineer?

There are no official requirements, but the entire scrutineering team has a high technical background of some sort (whether automotive or aerospace engineering), of course the team leaders have a crazy record on top of that.
