This is a joke considering that Alonso put in the fastest lap and outperformed Mark Webber's RBR. Flavio just wants attention and maybe is upset that his little Alonso was squeezed into the first corner and lost position[s]!! Maybe Flavio should go and take over at RBR since by all accounts they have slower race pace. Vettel and Flavio should get along just fine.

Briatore has advised Ferrari to forget their current car and throw all resources on the next year's design. I think it is a good idea but you can't keep doing it forever. So they better come up with something as impressive as the RB6 or RB7.

Nothing to do with your being a fan of Vettel and thus wanting two fewer competitors for him this season perchance?

^ I think you're right. The absence of the threads author to defend their opinion leads me to suspect this is an early April fools.

I suppose this thread is not considered as a joke only because WB started it. After some moaning about mr. WB's fanboism, trollism and short sightness (which to some point is hipocricy IMO), WB fed You with a little of what everybody expected from him.
He (WB) is probably having much more fun getting You into this game than You.

No offence to anyone intended, pure speculations :)

I commend a few threads with a sense of humor to brighten this place up a bit :)

Quit after the first race... =D> Thats the way champions think!

We can get this thread back out after Barcalona race if they hold form.

I'm still reading the comments that are made in this thread but I prefer not to react to the mud slinging.

I believe that Briatore's opinion can be criticised and people may disagree with my view about Ferrari's internal ability to cope with resource restriction. But the issue usually arrives sooner or later during a season.

This time it may have come unsuitably early for some due to the perceived superiority of the Red Bull which may have prompted Briatore's reaction.

Teams with very low resources like Hispania are known to abandon an F1 car development after the first race. So this would be usual for minions but very unusual for Ferrari who are rich. Nevertheless it is possible that Ferrari's relative competitiveness will not improve until Monaco. In that case they will face an uphill struggle in the Italian media. The 2011 car is so much hyped up that we can expects calls for heads to roll if Alonso cannot fight for poles and race wins by then.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Considering that Jester Maroc is actually the only one who I see has used his brain before slinging a shot in 3 pages of posts, this thread is now closed. I am without words to explain how I feel about this, and am very tempted to just delete the whole thing.
