Just watching turkey FP2 on the BBC website & they were talking about an incident of the McLaren car losing its incar fire extinguisher & them doing everything they could to retrieve it back off the track... Any more info on this?

There were suspicions that the extinguisher contained something it shouldn't have because of the lengths they went through to try and retrieve it...

You must have missed the start of the story. They said it fell off James Hunts car at Watkins Glen in 1976. The extingusher was situated on the top of the engine and was a lot more exposed than they are now so it is easy to see how it could fall off.
