What makes a good driver?

I'm guessing no one really knows the answer to this as there is such a wide variety of driving styles. Just wondering what everyone's opinion is.

instant feel for grip before turning into the corner, instant feel for the grip generally in really wet conditions, calmness when it starts to get near the end of the season, calmness while sitting behind someone in the middle of a downpour with a wall of mist and only having a small red light telling you where the nr1 guy is. little to no mistakes, raceraft in bunches, both overtaking and defending.

Basically Hamilton even though i´m rooting for Alonso and Kubica.
People need to realise that the guy is a phenom, if it was ´88 he would give Senna a run for his money without a doubt.
