How to weld carbon fibre?

You have to make or find a CF tube that is smaller in diameter, in a size that will fit inside the 2 halfs that you have to weld. Then you glue it on the one half, and when it cures, you go on with the second half. This is a very good way to do it, for example it is done on masts (the mast is a very critical part, directly affecting the safety of sailing boats).
