Great work, man.

I don't suppose you do glassworks? I'd love to see someone build an RB6 model from glass and give it to Newey!

After a few problems with the Renault RS27 engine - the first one i've built was too big - the new one is getting better.

Here you can see the big old engine, and the new one. I meassured out, that the external dimensions of the engine are about 660x464x424mm.

With this size it looks good

As against the old one:

The upper section looks a bit too large does it? Also the slot for the exhaust gases seems to be too high, but I have never see the original car with the DDD exposed in such a way, so I wouldn't trust me on that one ;)

Other than that your car looks incredibly detailed, looking forward to the final result :)

You Germans are really something else. Can the model be hardened up by some coating or something of the sort when you are finished Paul?

Hello guys,

Thanks at all. It takes a little bit longer for this update, because I'm working on an other project to (a Porsche 917).
You can watch it here:

@ Mandrake: That's possible. The information you get about this car are very rare and not ery helpfull in many sitauations. When i mounted the gearbox, I thought that also. But it's okay - not a big problem.

@ n smikle: I'm no german, I'm from Austria ;). I'll finish the car with a clear lacquer (did I write that in the right way?). I hope it will look something like this Lotus:

Thanks for watching and hope for a quick next update!

Thank you guys.

Theres one ore update before i go back to the Porsche 917.

At first the two bulls at the front.

And then, the whole air intake system for the engine. The little hole you can see in the golden heat shield is for the f- vent. Sadly the whole camshaft cover disapeard under the heat shields.

Here you can see the f-vent-and the engine air feeding.

That's everything of me at the moment.
