BTCC '98 regulations

Hello, ive being searching for the exact rims and tyres dimensions of the btcc 98 touring cars, sadly i didnt find the right info so im here to request the help of the comunity! thanks in advance!

In 98 BTCC was driving to Super-Touring (Class 2) Regulations.

Max tyre width was 9 inches and the overall diameter 650mm.

Thanks, i discovered that the size of the rims in btcc 98 was 19" so the dimensions of the tyres could be like 225/35 or something? please correctme if im wrong!

Something like this if you compare it to seizes for street tires.
In racing you have a different notation.

Ok, i thought the sizes had the same notation has the street one, anyway now i will be able to get the tyre ruber height by substractin the 19" in cm of the rim from the 65 cm total tyre diameter!

I finaly had a major help on my quest, i have some video season reviews of various years and i was watching the 1997 season video and i spoted the honda accord tyres with the exact tyre size, there was 21/65-19, correct me if im wrong but i think the first 2 numbers are the size of the tyre in cm and the 3rd is the rim size in inches! Please give me some feedback on this! Thanks!

As far as I know, you´re correct

width: 210 mm
diameter: 650 mm
rim: 19 in
