Impressions I got from watching the post-race interview of the podium finishers:

Hamilton looked like a guy that just had the weight of the world taken off his shoulders.

Alonso looked like he had been "ridden hard and put away wet". He had a look that to me suggested he was mentally exhausted after being on the absolute limit just about every lap.

Button was very matter of fact, and impressed me how calmly he explained that he lost KERS on lap 13 and the tribulations he had to manage with not knowing if he was going to have the braking of the KERS charging. The guy is a class act.

Could we see these 2 giants paired together again one day?

Who knows where this love-fest will go, but it is good to see some public mutual admiration.

Why not in Ferrari? Will be fantastic.

Fantastic? Why? Why do you think that it would be different in Ferrari than it was in McLaren? I think that it is easier to compete against driver from another team than your teammate. It's good and I think quite exceptional that Hamilton and Button get along nicely with eachother even in situations like their dumb crash in Canada.

Hamilton and Alonso at Mclaren reminded me of Senna and Prost. Seemingly great when it started and quickly deteriorated into something that Mclaren couldn't handle.

Are we seeing them genuinely making up, or are we seeing them both with a new rival to downtalk?

Please don't fill this thread with bile towards either driver, lets have some sane discussion, not fanishness.

Senna always said of Prost that he is the one I watch.

Prost always watched Senna.

they knew that they were rivals and respect existed at that level.

They did'nt particularly like each other.
