Why is Bruno called "Bruno Senna" when his father's name Lalli?

For popularity through the use of Ayrton's name. The portuguese naming rules allow for him to use either Lalli or Senna, or both if he wanted. But if you were a Formula 1 driver, the name Senna is most associated

Hoping that he and PM are as good as Damon Hill in developing the car in 1994.

Same, however I doubt it to be the case. BS and PM are relatively inexperienced. This is why they needed someone like Rubens or even Sutil. 2 pay drivers won't cut it IMHO

He never got any chance to prove him self.
I have been following his career for some time and I must say he is a very good driver, specially in GP2.

I just hope he gets better car this year!

This is the issue. He won't have a chance to prove himself, because he won't get a good car, only the smaller teams need his money, and that's why he's here

For some reason I don't think he is a strong technically minded guy just yet. But he sure does look like he wants to put the hours in.

For same reason Ayrton was called "Ayrton Senna" while his father's name was da Silva.

Senna and da Silva were the two sides of Ayrton's family though. Bruno has no Senna side to his mother or father.

Yep. He has not the seed of Senna, but born from the Spermatozoa of some guy named Flávio (Briatore?) Lalli...

Shall we actually discuss his race seat at Williams or should this thread be renamed to something about his genealogy? With the latter allowing for more extensive discussion about his DNA and family background, along with Brazilian/Portuguese naming traditions. :)
