So for once a departure from the RBR design? Or will the RB8 also look like that?

On a side note, the car is just called the TR7, not STR7.

What's your source?

It will be called the STR7 according to their site. They have no reason to change, they still have their Ferrari engines, and their name is still Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Who says crashing is always a bad thing? Having previously passed various static crash tests, today, our new car, the STR7, passed all remaining FIA crash tests.

Toro Rosso always use the codename TR for all their cars, it makes it wasier for in house use seemingly. Their chassis are always STRs.

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/ ... 12940.html formula1.com lists them as just Torro Rosso in that article.

Wouldn't Triumph have something to say about them calling it a TR7? ;)

 yes, but they are still called Scuderia Toro Rosso. McLaren are called Vodafone McLaren-Mercedes, but that doesn't mean they are called their full name all the time.

 I'm pretty sure they've been defunct for quite some time.
