So that was Clay Regazzoni, Ferrari 312B3, before the final race of the 1974 season at Watkins Glen, when himself and Emerson Fittipaldi were tied on 52 points.

The Sauber C1 was named for Christine Sauber, but wasn't an F1 car. However the later Saubers seem to have continued the series.
