Ivand911, I read some post of you on another forumm comparing the new and old FWs, the wider pylons are very clear but I don't see the difference in the green flap which you mentioned, can you tell me, please?

Shape on the green flap is different and see the end closer to the pylons is different. One stay up , other is connected with the main plane(going down). Nosecone is wider too.

I agree. But I think it's rather design concept or philosophy. EBD with current rules could give 10% (let's say 15% at the end of the year ) last years DF.

I already have read some technical directors(don't remember which) claiming they could recover 25% from last year EBD with the new rule.

If Mercedes is like getting 15% back with this solution, then switching to Sauber or Mclaren solution would be a good gain, if their solutions give the assumed 25%.

It's obviously asymetric, just look with some attention to it.

See look at the 2nd pic there, if you turn the angle a little bit more it would be asymetric compared to the other side, for anyone who thinks its asymetric.

It's even clearer to spot the differences on yener's post, even if it didn't had the red dots. The angle is much better on both versions of FW

Huntresa, the wings are different on yener's post, it doesn't prove your assumption that it was angle related. Look at the wing again on atanatizante's post and see that there are 2 vertical planes on left endplate(left from driver's POV) and only 1 vertical plane on right endplate

PS: Anybody remember seeing that V shape on the gurney flap, on another car?

Also it works with the pic that has 2 wings, cause i just meant if you angle the bottom one abit more it looks like 1 endplate, as i said it has been discussed like 30 pages back in this thread.

Yeah, the arrow was covering the other vertical plane. When you posted the image without it, I zoomed it and saw the other one.

Anyway, it wouldn't be of any use to test an asymetric wing because the rules don't allow asymetric fw.
