This is a 1:18 replica of the Mercedes GP Petronas MGP W01 as driven by Michael Schumacher. I am curious about the car's aerodynamic package and configuration. I wanted to ask the good forum regarding this subject. Does it look like a launch car? Was it raced at all? If so, from which GP circuit? I'd like to know about this matter so as to find out about the accuracy of this replica... I hope you don't mind my posting this here...

It was said somewhere, sometime, in the bible that human knowledge will grow exponentially.
I think Formula One racing is one example of such "words turn flesh".

Overall, pretty good replica. At first glance (more to come when I find time :)) compared to the launch car:

- The exhausts are pointed a bit differently
- Some of the elements of the front wing have a different shape
- There are less louvres on the rear wing (the diagonal slits)

I can't tell about the rear, I can't see much of it.
Bonus from me: the car in the wind tunnel in its pre-testing phase:
